I pursued a career in education because of my love for young people and my desire to see them excel. I am very involved in my church where I teach the teenage Sunday class. I have one son, Nicholas, whom I am very proud of. I spend much of my leisure time with him.

Library Mission Statement
The mission of the Pike County Elementary School Library Media Center is to provide an accessible, enjoyable, welcoming place for students, teachers, and staff to find books, resources, and materials that promote a love of reading and lifelong learning.
Library Philosophy
It is our philosophy at the Pike County Elementary School Library Media Center to be an integral part of our students’ education. It will provide teachers and staff with current resources and equipment to be used in giving our students the best education possible. A collaborative effort between teachers and the media specialist will ensure that all students learn the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the future. Students will use the media center as a place to enjoy quality literature and take an active part in learning information literacy skills.
