Pike County Elementary School will receive the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant for the 2010-11 school year.  This is the third consecutive year that PCES students will get to participate in this grant program!  Each student receives a fruit or veggie each day of the week.  Nutrition education materials will also be available for teachers to use during this extra snack time.  The FFV program promotes healthy snacking and encourages students to eat 5 servings of fruits and/or vegetables each day.
